Marius pibarot solo

Marius sings and plays violin, double bass and guitar on stage, using using loops and effect pedals for some songs, simply playing acoustic for others. Being American on his mother’s side, his compositions are naturally inspired by folk music and bluegrass, but he’s also been influenced by many other music styles of Venezuelan, Armenian and Turkish origin. Marius loves to share his music and its appreciated by all!

I’ve always dreamed of recording an album on which I would play all—or almost all—of the instruments. That dream is now in your hands! This album is the result of many journeys and unexpected encounters. It’s a patchwork of the different kinds of music I listened to, played, and studied in my twenties. Bridget Kearney, Manuel Sanchez, and Cory Seznec provided invaluable help on a few tracks, and Nicolas Vercambre handled all the technical aspects—thank you to all of them!
